This just fit the bill. It matched up to my existing InSinkErator sink tailpiece. Same as you may get for more dollars but does the same job for less. Purrs like a kitten.

This InSinkErator garbage disposal is exactly as advertised—fits perfectly, works like a charm, and installation was a breeze. The "Lift and Latch" technology really made the setup easy, and I was able to swap out the old disposal with minimal hassle. It’s got a nice, powerful motor that shreds food waste quickly, and I appreciate the automatic reset function if it ever gets overloaded.However, it does sound a little louder than I expected, especially for my kitchen setup, but it’s not a deal-breaker. It’s efficient, does the job, and has a solid 1-year warranty backing it up. All in all, a great purchase that earns a solid 5 stars!

This InSinkErator garbage disposal is very easy to install. It comes with a power cord and everything that’s necessary for installation. It has a convenient QUICK LOCK mount that made it very easy to swap out my existing 20 year old InSinkErator garbage disposal for this one.It works better than expected, the 1/3 HP motor does the job, it’s powerful, but fairly quiet. The overall quality is excellent, I’m very satisfied. At around $80, it!s a strong value, a bang for your buck option that’s definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!

I purchased the InSinkErator Builder Series BLD30 W/C garbage disposal as a replacement for the old unit in my kitchen. It wasn't too hard to install, but I did appreciate that it came with the power cord. This is a good thing, since a garbage disposal is usually located in a place that’s out of the way, like the bottom of a kitchen sink. With that being said, installing the unit will require access to the sink drain, which is a good reason to not attempt this on your own unless you have plumbing experience. I’d be more than happy to recommend that you hire a plumber to help you install it. This will save you a lot of heartache if you mess something up. But, I’ve installed the BLD30 myself without any major problems. This unit has a powerful motor and seems to do a much better job of grinding food than the previous unit I had. Plus, it’s quieter, so I don’t have to yell over the noise while I’m talking to the family. These were the main reasons for the upgrade. In other words, it’s a great product. InSinkErator always has the highest quality trash disposal units on the market. If you have a kitchen with lots of food waste and garbage, this is the one for you. It won’t let you down.
