I tried the usual methods of getting the rotor unstuck; clear it by hand, twist with fingers, use wrench to turn the big bolt on the underside, yelling at it, threatening to call a plumber, price checking a new disposal, asking the neighbor about the weather, hot and soapy water, ice cubes (bad idea), etc. My sweetie asked if there was a specialized wrench or something, so I looked and found this. It arrived next day and I used it. In less than a minute the disposal was working! The engineering of this tool made it skip inside easily. Then it found footing quickly. A couple of twists and I removed the tool. Success! I highly recommend! I'm waiting for my neighbor to ask if he can use it, too.

Our disposal didn't want to spin and I lost the first key we had for it, I have since used both of these wrenches with great success. Literally nothing I would change, great value.

This tool works very well. Feels heavy duty, very sturdy. My disposal doesn’t have the Allen key at the bottom so I used the black one. Got the jam cleared in about a minute. Highly recommend.

These tools arrived quickly and as advertised. The two tools appear to be well built and compatible with my Insinkerator disposal. Unfortunately, however, they did not clear my disposal and I ended up needing to replace the disposal. However, I suspect this was due to corrosion in the disposal, and would try these tools again if my new disposal jams.

I am always, for some reason, clogging my garbage disposal. I can’t tell you how many times that I’ve had to unplug my garbage disposal and then swipe my hand around inside it and get gross chunks of stuff up by hand.this tool allows me to not have to stick my hand inside the disposal drain and just rotate it around until it signs the offending piece of food and I’m able then to remove itthis is a really handy tool, and it also has a way to go underneath the sink to get to the garbage disposal, which I haven’t had to use yet.
