With the help of this solution, I was able to get rid of anything from delicate rose plants to thick, obstinate branches that had been staring me down for weeks. Absolutely everything is covered by the three-piece package. In order to do precise work around my flower beds, I found that the smaller pruning shears were the most useful. They are sharp, handle comfortably, and produce clean cuts with little effort required on the user's part. Compound action is the lopper in question. Oh my goodness, this thing is a monstrosity! It's fair to say that I've never felt more strong than I do when I'm standing in the garden. My apple tree had this gnarly old limb that had been making fun of me for years. It had been there for those years. In the past, when I attempted anything with subpar equipment, I found myself sweating and cursing. With this lopper, I summoned my inner lumberjack and cut through it like butter. I was able to go through it completely. Your strength is exponentially increased as a result of the compound effect. For those activities that need to be done in between, the branch cutter is a good addition to the set. My back was spared the needless bending and straining that would have been done otherwise since it has a decent reach. I used this one to straighten up some overgrown bushes, and it made short work of branches that were just a little bit too thick for the hand pruners. I was really pleased with the results.

I am a senior and these cutters open and close easily for cutting small weeds, grass or larger ones for blackberry bushes.

Very poor quality. Broke in first use! Metal was flimsy and several of the plastic components on the handle broke. Bought as a Christmas gift couldn’t use until a semi warm day in January they broke. Contact Amazon and seller and each kept referring to the other. ***update*** the seller reached out and honored a replacement. I have used the loopers and those work well. The shears have yet to be used again as I had trimmed my ornamental grass with another tool after the break of the previous shears. Most of the tools are seemingly of decent quality. I remain Leary of the shears.

The tools come in three different sizes that allow pruning of different bushes. I don’t have a green thumb, but thought these work great!

I bought this set and have to say that they work. I have used the hand clippers and sheers and they do the job with little effort or concern. I have been satisfied on the quality of the products and happy with the overall price.

Any loppers that are not anvil as these, are a waste of good money. Bypass loppers are junk. I wore out the Gardena anvil loppers I had used many years. Bypass loppers twist in use and are soon cast aside as the jink they are.The Loppers in this set are superbly engineered.The anvil jaw is serrated +++ The action is ratcheting - +++The shears have a wavy cutting blade and the same curve of the mating blade has the high point mating to the concave. Effectively there is a grabbing to the cut. +++The pruning shears have an improved safety lock which does not impede usage. +++
