Have been very pleased. Haven't gotten really aggressive with it fighting tough roots, prying rocks, etc. but seems really well made and tough so far.

Sure would have been nice to receive the trowel sharpened at the factory before sending it to customers.My dinner butter knife is sharper than the trowel that was sent to me. There was no real effort to sharpen the trowel.I know it's a trowel and not a knife, but the edge really could have been sharpened more than one pass on the grinder.I will look at other brands and models of hand trowels.

I'm no professional gardener, but I've been getting better and better at the practice for years. I've picked up some cheaply made tools along the way and when my spade broke, I went to Home Depot looking for a new one. I left disappointed because they've all got a stress point either at the base of the spade or at the handle. My tools sit in an outdoor gardening box in the Florida heat. This spade is solid and quite sturdy. It's thicker where the stress points are and the metal is thick. I know it's kind of silly, but it makes me happy to have this one at my disposal.

Love the sharp point on the tip of this shovel; it really helps to dig deeply into the dirt. The handle is of sold construction. It is a rubber material that does not wash clean well.
