This scoop does a lot of the hard work when I'm planting perennials and trees. It's perfect for digging small holes and scooping the soil up and out more efficiently than straight trowels. Most important to someone who lives in Rocksilvania, it pries all the stones and rocks that are embedded in the soil. I'm amazed at the strength of the scoop as it holds up under stubborn rocks. The sharp teeth on the scoop's sides are handy for breaking apart pot-bound roots or roughly sawing plant clumps into smaller sections.

Really like the weight and handling of the scoop. Easy to hold and pointed end makes it easy to get into and under low plants.

If you even like gardening a little bit- buy this.I bought the 2 pack, one for myself and used one as a gift. It's the best "trowel" I've ever used. The gift recipient, at first, was like "oh thanks". Until she used it and it truly makes all the difference in the world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
