The switch connections according to MARK were correct. SILVER pins to power. Silver EDGE to HOT, Silver Middle to LOAD (light, amp, whatever). Brass/bronze goe to neutral.I tried mine the way the "Master electrician" said to wire it, and the LED was ALWAYS on.Puzzled it out on a digital VOM and switched silver leads (Middle to LOAD not HOT) and it works as advertised.Forget about getting a scanning electron microscope to read the pin numbers on the bottom of the switch, just a magnifying glass to read the pinouts and it will work according to MARK who kindly brought the reversed pin numbering to light.Works great.

When connected properly to an AC circuit which it is designed for use, this product works as described and the led (yes there is an led in there!) does turn on when switch is on. The pinout is shown on pachaging which is backwards left to right 321 instead of the same descriptions but from left to right 123. This switch is not meant for 12vdc or in a car configuration unless using 120v or 240v AC in a specific function after an inverter. This switch will work without it's led with 12vdc because the led is designed to light only above a certain voltage that is AC.

This is the magic button that switches a Sub-panel from grid to solar backup in case the Texas Grid fails. It energizes a DPDT contactor that feeds 3500 watt inverter power from the solar system to the house. Small button fit perfectly in the small panel. Wife loves it. ;-)

Installed on an LED picture light. My only complaint is that the hole needs to be just a hair larger than 0.5"- had to "wiggle" my 1/2" bit to get it to fit. Otherwise, installation was simple. I like to red LED that glows when the light is off.

Used it to fix my mother-in-law hanging patio heater. The pull switch failed and this was rated at high enough amps. Works great.
