Seems to work as expected. Luckily I haven't had a leak so can't really say how well it detects but seems to be working according to the directions. Quick delivery.

This small gadget has really helped me feel at ease. It's super simple to operate—just plug it in, and it's good to go. I love that it keeps an eye on the air quality keeping me safe while I relax. It's very responsive and lets me know right away if there are any gas levels I should be concerned about. I think it's essential for safety and I definitely recommend it for its dependability and user-friendliness!

Hi! I have a combination of issues that make me worry and double-check things.I have a propane stove/oven, an old propane gas hookup not in use, and an old HVAC system fueled by propane and also not in use. The water heater is propane as well, but It is thankfully outside.I am often smelling propane. 6/10 times I'm right, and the culprit is someone bumping the knobs so that gas is released without triggering the noise lighting mechanism.I didn't realize this is direct to the wall and not corded or chargeable which is a bummer. However, in my case, I have an outlet within about a foot of the burners so it still is exactly where my concern is.Read the booklet. It does take time to 'warm up'. The alarm is loud. Potentially louder than my fire alarms. The booklet recommends using a lighter to test the sensor which was great because I couldn't figure out how to test it. It took a lot of gas to set it off. I held the lighter button down directly in front of the inlet for a full 6 Mis-sis-sip-ppi's before it went off.To the best I can tell it does exactly what it says. I'll still be working towards removing propane utilities from my home. The lit up '7' photo is while the alarm was actively going off.

This is very useful for my kitchen. My wife is forgetful and has many times left the gas on the stove on by accident with no flame. Now we have this plugged in our kitchen and have a way to be alerted if any gas leak is detected. It runs a test each time it is plugged in or when the power gets cut and restored. It's pretty small and unobtrusive and I'd recommend it for kitchens, garages, or anywhere that gas leaks may happen.

This detector seems to work well enough. There are a lot of beeps getting it set up. The light from the display is also fairly bright, so this might not be the best choice for a bedroom. Not a big deal for my situation, so it doesn't bother me at all.

I like that this gas detector can be plugged directly into an outlet for power, not relying on batteries. Its great that it doesn't block the other upper outlet when you plug it into the lower outlet. It has a number display and audible alert when it detects gas. I was able to test it with methane only, which worked as expected, but wasn't able to test it with other gases. I would have preferred it had a battery backup in the event of a power outage, but what are the chances you will have both a gas leak and a power outage. Its a nice, lightweight portable detector.

This detector does take a little while once plugged in. I noticed that sometimes it takes a little bit to detect propane gas. But would go off once it did. I would recommend testing this to make sure it keeps working.
