Ordered three devices. Plugged two in and waited the 24 hours to test. Neither of the two would even test. All I got was the womans voice, that I couldn't understand and the code "I bad". Didn't even try the third. I didn't even get to the point of trying it with stove gas. Gave three stars because they were reasonably priced and shipped quickly.

Safety is priceless.

Absolutely useless. Used in a home with an elderly resident and plugged in A FOOT away from the stove. Twice the gas was accidentally left on and the entire kitchen and living room had a strong smell. No reaction from sensor whatsoever. Complete waste.
