I had high hopes for this gas transfer pump, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The biggest issue? The impeller cap fell off right into my gas can, and without it, the pump is completely useless. There’s no way to operate it without the cap being properly installed, and retrieving it from the gas can is a frustrating hassle.The design seems poorly thought out, as a critical piece shouldn’t detach so easily. While the pump worked fine before this happened, the fact that it’s now unusable makes it a waste of money. I expected better durability and reliability.Pros:✔ Worked well initiallyCons:✖ Impeller cap falls off too easily✖ Useless without the cap installed✖ Poor design and durabilityUnless you want to risk losing a key component inside your gas can and rendering the pump useless, I’d suggest looking for a more reliable option.

It's a great idea but I had difficulty preventing gas from leaking at the hose/handle connection. Unfortunately this device comes without the handle attached to the hose. If you try too hard too push the handle into the fragile/weak hose that comes with it the hose collapses. Very frustrating situation. Secondly the handle has a joint above the hose connection and if it's not absolutely torgued down fuel will leak everywhere.

It was easy to assemble and seems to be made sturdy. So far good. Recommend it!
