This gauge does precisely what I need it to. Running out of propane in the middle of a cook is a worst case scenario. Easy to install, the gauge is way to read and lets you know when you oughta refill. Recommend for grill and griddle folks, that don’t want to tote around extra tanks.

First use of this brand new gauge on a standard propane tank that was brand new and just filled. This gauge leaked a lot of gas overnight and I have returned it with full details about the dangerous propane leak. It did not even show full on the tank even though we had filled it a a propane dealers business that filled it to full with their U-Haul propane filling system. I just thought the gauge might be a little off, but it leaked gas overnight. I have told Amazon, on the return form, what happened and that they should contact the manufacturer to make sure they did not have a run of poorly manufactured gauges that will leak all by themselves. Use caution and disconnect this when not in use and store your propane tanks outside the house.
