Bought these for my Tecware Phantom Elite keyboard (after spilling coffee everywhere like an idiot). Instead of buying a brand new keyboard, I cleaned everything out, let it dry, and decided to try out the 'hot swappable' feature on my Tecware.I wasn't sure if these Gateron Browns would fit but figured it was worth a shot based on the reviews and the price. And they do fit! They fit in the keyboard just fine and while I really loved the Wraith browns my Tecware came with, these Gateron Brown's blow them out the park. The typing experience is smoother, faster, and quieter! Not going to knock on the Wraith switches but these browns feel really nice, and they sound AMAZING in my tecware keyboard. My keyboard has more of a THOONK sound which I friggin love. So happy with my purchase.

Update: seller said the discription was wrong. Showing they were hot swap and they are not. As why I was having issues.. They said they'd change the description and issued a full refund. Had these worked they seemed like nice keys and great CLICK! for non hot swap boards these should work fine. Moved it to 4 stars as they do stand behind issues happen and they fully refunded because of the mistake. Admitting mistakes makes me respect a company more. Tried replacing the red I have with blue so I get clicky!! Look and feel like nice switches. Sound good. Feel good. Put one in. Tried it. Pulled it out to make sure the pins were OK. The outter pin was bent. I knew I checked it. Felt it was in place and pushed in evenly. After bending 15. I took the entire board apart. Pins like up properly but the reason the outter pin keeps bending. It's over sized enough it will not slide into place. So it bends. These are worthless no matter how good they sound or look or feel. Will update review if I get replacements that actually fit and install properly. The Red ones it came with I can install 4 times and not one single issue. 🤷â€â™‚ï¸

After searching for a keyboard switch with smooth action, low actuation force, and minimal pre-travel distance, I narrowed my options down to two main contenders: the Gateron G Pro 3 Silver and the Akko V3 Silver Pro.Reviews suggested the Gateron switches were smoother than competitors like the Kailh Speed Silver. While testing the Akko V3 Silver Pro in a sampler kit, I found it significantly louder than the Gaterons, which helped make my decision.Through testing various sampler kits, I knew that two-stage springs offered lighter initial force - a feature I specifically wanted. The one-stage springs required more force than I preferred.These switches are two-stage and deliver exactly the smooth, light touch I was looking for in my gaming keyboard.

I bought these to replace the original switches that came in my Royal Kludge keyboard. The originals were much to light. I have a heavy touch and that was causing me to make a lot of typos. I would probably benefit from an even slightly stiffer switch but these are nice. The action is smooth and the response is accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again for another keyboard when this one gives out.

These switches are great to buy for those who love linear switches. For gaming, they're relatively light switches that are easy to press. These are also not too bad for typing, but the lack of a tactile bump may not be desirable for you (go for browns or blues if so). These switches also come with a light amount of lube on the stem which helps reduce the scratchy sound you get with unlubed switches. There is also oil lube on the springs which essentially eliminates that pinging sound you would normally get. I would still recommend lubing these switches by hand if you have the time, money, and patience to do so.

Hab nun viele Switches probiert und diese sind weder top im Taktiken Bereich noch klingen sie prelubed gut. Selbst gelubed ist es besser aber dann eher allgemein im silent bereich einzuordnen.Gibt für den Preis sicher bessere... wer taktil einsteigen will, sollte Switches mit nem besseren bump und Sound nehmen tbh. Aber die hersteller von Switches verlangen schon heftige Preise für etwas , wofür viele nicht bereit sind , mehr auszugeben. Die Enthusiasten im custom Kb Sektor, kennen bessere Switches.

They are packaged in a thin, plastic cylinder that saved a lot of unnecessary plastic which is always a bonus. They were easy to install and no additional prep was needed. 10/10 would recommend.
