This is a customized linear axis launched at the end of last year, it feels very smooth, with black plated spring, all black body, Support 2 pin/4 pin led, support unraised smd led (If smd led is above PCB then not able to use)
About LED Pin
For the supported LEDs, only 2pin and 4pin pin LEDs can be used, others are not supported.
If your LEDs are soldered on the PCB, there will be no light transmission effect at all

This is probably the best switch I have laid my hands on and it helped me solve the problem of having heavy keycaps double clicking on me constantly. I thought I was going insane when my averages of 90-100 were sinking to 75-80. Turns out the switches I had on my Ak820 Pro had actuation forces of 45g whereas ceramic keycaps (Cerakeys) made it lower and harder to reset the point where it went up. Naturally, this would lead to a lot of double typing in typing scenarios. The combination of my keyboard with this switch made for a heavenly combo especially when driven with Cerakeys. Overall, this switch is very good for those who type hard or have heavy keycaps (No idea if metal keycaps are as heavy as Ceramic Keycaps, but this could possibly help double clicking in those cases as well.) For feel alone, it has a satisfying descent as this is a well lubed linear switch. Typing with this switch made me feel like I was completely in control of my typing. For sound, it has a deep and muted profile. If you are going for 'thock', this would be a natural pick. As for the price? I wish it was lower, but it would be worth it in the long run. Be aware your RGB would be dulled by around 60-80 percent since the housing of the switch is straight up black and not see through so the gaps would be the only area where it actually shines. 10/10 in my experience!Edit: There were some switches that weren't as properly lubed as it could have been which made it squeaky, but I reached out to the seller and they immediately sent me replacement parts even after the return window. So not only is this switch a 10/10, their support for aftersales is a 10/10 as well! If you have concerns about defects, this would not be an issue buying from this seller.

If you like stock browns, then step your game up to these oil kings. They are very well lubed from the box and I'd say they are a big upgrade to any keyboard if you swing to the linear side.

They are a tried and true switch love them did some lubing of my own with Krytox g0 and they sounds and feel amazing one of my favorite linear switches!

These switches don't need any more lubrication as it's great out of the factory. You won't be disappointed when you install these babies on your keyboard and the sound is fantastic as well. These Gateron Oil Kings truly live up to their name and have a good actuation response when typing. These are surely one of my top favorite switches out there.

I'm generally more of a tactile switch person. However, I tried a friend's keyboard that had these switches and fell in love with them. The feel is so nice and smooth that I gave up the bump in favor of these linear switches and truly love how they feel.

These are no doubt excellent and are super smooth, to the point you can barely hear/feel the spring compression or any mechanism doing it’s thing, there is very little scratch , I would say the CJ are the smoothest however compared to these still.The negative to me (this is personal preference) is that the switch feels abit too heavy and it feels like a longer bottom out, also noticed my fingers got a little sore after using it.The last negative is that you can forget your RGBs as there is zero light pass through if you have a board with LEDs which sit under the switch.If your wondering if the red Gaterons pro are significantly worse than these they you are wrong, marginally better but not by “that†much.

I just added them to my keyboard. They're easy to press linear switches that still offer a little bit of resistance when you type. If you like that bit of resistance, they are perfect.

Amazing switches for the money. Really good quality in terms of both feel and sound. Extremely crisp to type on. These are factory lubed, and the lubing is pretty good. I personally couldn't identify any difference in sound or feel after relubing (tried on one switch as a test), so ended up using them stock on my keyboard. In my experience, this isn't the case with other proclaimed factory lubed switches, which show a significant difference after re-lubing. For the price, excellent switches, especially if you dont want to go through the tediousness of the whole lubing process but want lubed switches.

Love them, they sound and feel amazing. Only downside is that they cover RGB so it isn’t as bright but it is what it is.

Great switch from Gatreon. If you can wait, buy it from Hong Kong. It’s much cheaper than buying it from here. Very much over priced.

Build quality seems pretty cheap, double checked a few spare switches and non seem lubed. clips don’t seem to come loose, now I’m permanently stuck with 87 unwanted switches in my keyboard 😪
