The Gateron Smoothie switches are full POM pre-lubed linear switches with 22mm dual stage springs, they are 5 pin and compatible with boards supporting MX style switches. The switch is on the lighter side with 40gf/ +- 10gf (simply denotes operating force with gf meaning grams of force). The lighter the switch the easier to register a key press and this is fairly light by most standards. If you rest your fingers on the keys then you will probably get key presses registering as the pre-travel is a mere 2mm and the total travel is 3.6mm to bottom out. In other words this is a fast switch but not a speed switch and if your keyboard does not have NKRO you could see results you may not want but luckily most present day boards have NKRO built in so it should be less of an issue especially when gaming. The product page claims these are a more budget friendly version of the infamous Oil Kings and I absolutely agree with that. They are super smooth and very creamy, and the sound profile with double shot keycaps sound and feel identical to Oil Kings. The Smoothies are a great choice if Oil Kings are not in your price range AND in my opinion they are very much worth trying. Just be aware the switches are a milky translucent material so they diffuse the RGB quite a bit but not as much as Oil Kings and they won't affect the RGB colors as much either since they are white. TLDR: You may regret not trying these Smoothies, they are super pleasant in feel and sound along with being a tremendous value over trendy, more expensive switches on the market. No I'm not a shill, I just know the difference between a good switch and a bad one, also I'm very particular in my preferences.

The press and rebound of these switches is very smooth. They're incredibly responsive, and are nearly silent. If you like linear switches, these are an excellent option. Gateron switches are one of the top lines out there, but they don't merely rest on their laurels - they definitely perform to match their reputation!

These switches sounds creamy with a little clack. The full POM housing makes them sound pleasing to the ears. Factory lube is OK, I would re-lube them for better performance. The all white switches looks awesome, and pairs nicely with my white keyboard. The LED light diffuser does a great job in illuminating my keycaps. For the price, it's a pretty nice deal for a set of 36 switches. Packaging is excellent, as expected of Gateron.

The smoothies are fantastic pre-lubed full POM switches. While the 22mm springs are light, it's length gives a little bit extra resistance when bottoming out and a much snappier reset. The switches are about mid range in price if you're budget minded. Smooth with a rich sound makes for a very pleasant typing experience. For those who focus on appearance, the switches are very RGB friendly being solid white reflects light well) with a light condenser included. A double win as dark switches tend to mute RGB lighting.

Gateron has a history of making really great switches and these are no exception. These switches are incredibly smooth for a full pom switch especially when compared to Kailh Creams which are also full pom and quite scratchy. These switches have a shorter travel at 3.6mm compared to the standard 4mm so these would be technically classified as a speed switch. These switches are long pole switches, so they have a really nice clack sound when typing. The dual stage springs feel nice and are quite long at 22mm. The operating force is 40g which is on the lighter side and is very comfortable for typing. Overall, they are and extremely smooth switch and are well priced. I give them a very high recommendation as someone who has been in the custom keyboard hobby for a few years now at this point.

These are not my cup of my tea, BUT they are excellent switches. The travel is a bit shorter than your average mech switch. They also use dual-stage springs. These are neat features, but I personally like a light linear with consistent travel. These are worth a shot though. They're smooth as can be, consistent presses from switch to switch, no wobble. Like I said, just not exactly my cup of tea, but that's entirely a matter of preference. I'm glad I tried these and I'm going to see how I like using them in a numpad; they seem ideal for that scenario.

What I liked...+ Lighter weight actuation force+ Deep and solid sound profile (will vary according to your keyboard)+ Very smooth press+ Not overly loud (but louder than say Gateron Milky Yellows)+ Light guide really helps transmit LED light through the switch (I wish more switches has this)+ Tolerable stem wobbleWhat I didn't like...- They aren't freeSeriously, the Smoothie has become one of my new favorite budget switch options.

I am LOVING these. They are easy to install and seem to be good quality. They feel AWESOME when typing and help me type faster. The sound quality is CREAMY and typing on them is SOOTHING. They don’t need to be lubed, they sound good straight out of the box. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to lube them again with some Krytox 205 g0. I will keep them the way they are for now, since I go through so many switches already. I am happy with them and, I HIGHLY recommend.
