Worked out perfect! Perfect fit, no noise, great value at the time I bought it. If you know what your are doing it is very easy to install. *on this vehicle!*If you're novice with car mechanics I can say this is still easy to do, just be cautious with what you are doing.

It’s hard to write a review when everything is simply exactly as it should be. Well made, easy installation, works perfectly.

My tensioner was end of life on my 2005 Altima 2.5. The installation was challenging just due to the space available. Do yourself a favor and remove the alternator and fuse box to get the proper access when replacing the tensioner. Also, make sure you have some long ratchet and or wobble sockets to assist with the job as well. bolts will twist in a little bit at a time so patience here will be needed.

BEWARE. Part is not up to spec as original oem Nissan Altima part. The tension is higher and will make the belt squeak and possibly give you other issues down the road. This tensioner is made by Litens Automotive Group® in Canada and sold by other auto part resellers like AC Delco and Gates under part number, 38284. I bought 1 from each company and they are exactly the same part. I returned both because both made the belt squeak.

*Update: This tensioner has been on my car for over a year and a half now and its still holding up great. No issuesThis tensioner arrived quickly from Amazon and was well packaged. It was a pretty straight forward install. No special tools needed. Just need a socket (forget which size) and a ratchet. Upon inspecting this tensioner and the one I took out, they look nearly identical. I had it installed in my car now for several months and it's been working fine. Seems to be as good as the OEM and easy to install. Much cheaper than what you would buy from the Nissan dealer. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. If you found this review helpful, please click "yes" next to the question below. Thank you.

El balero de la polea tiene un ligero movimiento lateral, espero que a la larga no sea un problema
