If you are installing serpentine belts on later model GM vehicles, this is a must have. For the price it can save you a lot of frustration using screwdrivers and zip ties. One of the least expensive tools I own and saves me a good amount of time and trouble.

This worked on a 2009 Mazda 5 although not as designed. There is a bolt intended to lock this into the crank pulley that did not fit my application. However there’s a groove on the tool that holds it in place on the lip of the pulley. Belt mounted easy the first time but the ac pulley was off by one groove so I used a screw driver to gently guide it over while turning the crank again. I could not use this tool to remove the old belt so I just cut that off. I think this was easier than the zip tie method as it went on first time super easy to my surprise. Just put the belt on your AC pulley and as much as you can on the left side of the crank pulley. Then slip this against the pulley with the half moon part facing the bottom of the belt and turn your crank around clockwise. Mine just slipped right in. If your smart like me you'll just replace the spark plugs at the same time and do the belts while your spark plugs are out. It makes turning the crank around super easy since there is no resistance from compression. If this is helpful please click it.

An inexpensive, simple, easy to use tool for installing stretch-fit belts that works flawlessly. Much simpler and quicker than using wire ties to install belts. Dose not work on every instillation but where it dose I am so glad that it is in my tool chest.

Purchased to replace stretch belt on 2013 Mazda 3i Hatchback with Skyactiv 2.0L I4 engine.THIS DOES NOT FIT!The problem is that the location where it would insert is too close to the engine block and it just won't fit in there.That said, IT IS ALSO UNNECESSARY to complete the job. I was able to simply work the belt around the pulley without the tool. Removal of the old belt was accomplished with a pair of heavy duty scissors.The tool itself seems reasonably sturdy and could probably work on other cars. I returned this for a refund.

I got this just as insurance because I have to remove my AC belt every time I take off my V-belt, but this tool didn't help at all, and had no way to be used for my purpose. I ended up just using a crowbar instead, the universal belt installer tool. Do yourself a favor and don't get this unless you know for sure it will work on your exact car.

El producto es bueno, sin embargo no se dispone de la informacion suficiente en cuanto a los modelos de auto donde aplica al 1005, me sirvio parcialmente. Creo que ya hay mejores productos en el mercado que son de uso generico.(vendidos por autozone)
