Bought this case for daughter's trip with youth orchestra to Portugal. Appears to be well made and stood up to the rigors of the trip with good protection for her viola. Downside- would have been nice to have space inside for the chin support, as well as including a hygrometer at the price of this case. Would probably have bought a different case with these features if I was given 'advance notification' that my daughter needed an upgrade to the original viola case, but alternate cases were way outside the delivery window needed for the trip.

This case is perfect until you close top. There isn’t enough room cut out of the top, putting a lot of pressure on the bridge and strings

Mi viola de 16" cabe perfectamente, sin embargo hay violas más anchas que ya no entrarían en este estuche. El compartimento que viene al interior no es lo suficientemente grande para un cojín de viola, creo que ahí no pensaron bien en el tamaño. El bolsillo exterior yo quería usarlo para guardar mi carpeta con partituras pero no cabe, sin embargo cabe perfectamente mi atril y también algunas hojas sueltas.Los materiales se ven muy bien y muy resistentes, ya llevo varios meses usándolo y ha aguantado perfectamente.
