It's a trade off between padding and size. This is less padding with much less size. You can hang a guitar in the closet in a space that could hold one or two shirts. The quality is very good, the straps are strong and the design makes it easy to get a guitar in and out of the bag without needing to take the bag out of the closet.

I thought this was a good thing to have as soon as I saw it. A real space saver. It could use a soft interior or more padding. But it’s not a gig bag so that’s ok. Perhaps a Velcro strap for the neck would be useful.

I love that the case allows me to tuck my bass away in tight spaces, the storage pockets are handy to put cables, picks, tuners, or gadgets that I use. The hoocks are strong enough, as well as the case itself. Great buy!
