I have an 88 key keyboard. This stand is very sturdy, yet compact for travelling. Love the multiple adjustments too. I definitely recommend this stand.

I was tired of using the x-shaped stands. They were bulky and hard to adjust the height other than making the wider or smaller. I wanted a stand that I could use in any environment. This stand works great and packs small. It's not the lightest stand but It is made of steel and I'm not worried about it breaking. I can use it with my 88 key keyboard or 49 key. it also looks nice and you can sit and play without the legs being in the way or adjust the height and stand.

There are a few other stands (table top) on Amazon. Of the ones with folding legs, this one is by FAR the most durable. If you're a full time gigging musician, this one will last for a while.I'd give it 5 stars if not for the fact that the legs must be folded the same way each time. If you attempt to fold the legs differently, the legs won't lay flat ... and since there's no markings on which leg folds up first, you have a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong.I'm not a huge fan of the locking mechanism on the folding legs. you have to pull the pins with a little nylon pull string attached ... and that's gonna break off in no time. The folding lock should be able to be done with one hand.I like the fact it's straight legged. IMO, it looks better on stage. The square tubing is nice. Much better than the other stands with round tubing. It's a little heavier than other stands but that makes for a better quality stand overall. If gator will fix the pull-pin situation and the folding legs ... this would be a 5 star product.

You can get random cheap stuff off of Amazon, and it's of questionable quality. This keyboard stand is tough and impressive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality stand for their precious instrument. They can also serve whatever other purpose you'd like to use it for. The n-shaped design with flat top gives you plenty of leg room or room for a 2x12 guitar amp in my room like what I'm using it for.

I've read the horrible reviews and somewhat agree with the sturdiness issue when fully raised. With that being said, this stand beats the X Stand hands down!!! It does have thin padding on the top so it won't scratch your keyboard nor slide! It holds an 88-key keyboard (see pic). I'm tall and the full height extention (46") is perfect! The legs do lock in place. The width extention is also great! Still haven't set up in a gig setting yet but I'm sure it will be great! If you're tall and have a larger keyboard, get this stand!!!

These adjustable tables are incredibly useful, I've bought several of these over the years for various uses around the house. The adjustable width and range of height seems to fit every need I have. I really don't know what I would do without these.

I bought this stand in early May 2023. What I liked about the keyboard stand was the wide-open leg area so I could operate an expression pedal without knocking my right-shin on an X-Stand.The stand was in decent shape until about early Jun 2023, when one of the leg hinges hyper-extended in the wrong direction, in my attempt to fold it up; and bent the hinge. It is my feeling that if the hinge was better built, it wouldn't have hyper-extended itself quite as easily as it did. This is something I feel could have happened to anyone.I continued to use the stand-- albeit one of the legs bent a little out, compared to the other leg-- until today, Aug 6, 2023. Upon folding it back up, the hinge broke loose from its weld on one side, and the opposite side is about to give way. The metal is fatigued, and about to tear out from its welded area. A hole is now starting to form where the metal has been torn away. For a stand that is supposed to be so durable, and that I just bought, it seems to have some rather shotty construction. And of course, it's past the deadline to return it... just my usual luck.My X-stand is so much more durable and solid, if only this Gator Stand was made with the same thick metal, I'd have probably been very happy. Despite the lack of leg room, looks like I'm going back to the X-stand, as I don't trust buying another Gator. I'm really sorry to have to write this negative review. I had hoped it was going to work out for me better than this.

I got this for my Casio keyboard, and I am pleased with it. My old "X" style stand would rock back and forth while playing, but this sits firmly on the ground. I think this could stand up to some touring also as this feels solid. It folds up too, so that could help people with limited storage space. Not a cheap product, but this will last for years.

Not typical GATOR quality, but still does its work. Not super sturdy, wobbles a bit, especially at maximum height. Still, I am using this stand for my equipment. I would like to share with you the info which technique may be lying on this table: laptop + Akai APC mini + PIONEER DDJ-SB; laptop + Akai APC mini + Novation XioSynth 25; laptop + Akai APC mini + PIONEER DDJ-SR; Behringer BCR2000 + Akai APC mini + Korg padKONTROL + Novation XioSynth 25 + Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6. The benefits: quick set up, well designed, portable.

I have a Kawai MP6 digital stage piano. It is heavy (21.5kg) and wide (1355mm) as it has 88 keys. I used to have a heavy duty double X-stand that had no problem with the weight of the MP6 but due to its limited width of support wobble or wiggle could not be avoided (even when I played sitting as I mostly do and it became worse when I played standing. Then I decided to purchase a "table-style" of stand to give better support and price/performance-wise the Gator Framework GFW-UTILITY-TBL Heavy Duty Keyboard Table seemed to be the best alternative. Indeed it made a huge difference as there is no more wobble or wiggle and as a bonus it offers unrestricted legroom when compared to the X-stand! When your keyboard is heavy and wide you need a "table-style" stand for firm support and the Gator Framework GFW-UTILITY-TBL Heavy Duty Keyboard Table is an excellent performer! It is very easy to set up as it does not need to be assembled by the end-user so it is very practical as well! Highly recommended quality keyboard stand and it is fairly inexpensive therefore it's an excellent value!Purchasing it via amazon.co.uk was a pleasant experience as usual!
