Specifically purchased due to being able to be attached to the wall socket by included screw. I wanted to add an electronic anode rod to our water heater which required another plug taking up the second space of the outlet in the garage near the water heater. The first socket was being used by the water softener. This was a quick easy fix that gets the two wall warts out of the way so the socket can still be used for various other things in the garage. Both the water softener and the new Corro Protect electric anode rod use the larger transformer type plugs at the socket, not built in to the appliance so I wanted the screw mounted version to not only protect from surges, but to also be able to support the extra weight of both transformers. So far so good.

I need some more plug space especially with the plug-hogs of various plug-in devices. This took care of putting everything together without the adapters hogging all the plug space.This is a very well built unit and screws right into the center screw of the socket. The plugs are firm and solid so nothing will slip out. Great for those goofy adaptors. This also eliminated the need for a power bar extension that adds excessive clutter. Nice and clean install with the plugs all in their placesA WORD OF CAUTION: Just don't overload this unit and it's not meant to take a real heavy load. Keeping it light will prevent the circuit breaker from tripping. Enjoy!

I bought fancier outlet taps than this, but they all had extremely annoying "features" I couldn't deal with. This one is simple, doesn't have an annoying, inexplicably bright (like lighthouse bright) LED on it that you can't ever turn off, and is easy to install.The overall layout is very convenient. Rather than having all outlets face the same direction and block the other outlets from being used, this one has 3 sides, allowing clearance between outlets needed for larger AC adapters. If you're using this for your bedside like us (two cell phone chargers, two baby monitors and a charger for a tablet, you aren't going to need to worry about overloading the circuit. But even if you do, this will protect from that, no ultra bright LED needed.The only issue I have with this is that it doesn't seem to "seat" flush with the wall after removing the original 2-slot outlet plate. It's not too much of an irritation, though. Much easier to deal with than that annoying, useless LED all the other brands have (in case I didn't mention the LED before...).

The plastic prong and screw help to stabilize this outlet on sockets. Depending on how level the sockets are with your wall, you might need to do some adjustment if you want this extender to lay perfectly flat against the wall.

I was looking for something to add more outlets to certain outlets in my apartment. It was essential that it have at least 4 plugs, be grounded, and not take up a lot of space. Surge protector strips are nice but big and take up a lot of space. These seemed perfect but after having bad experiences with these types of outlets in the past I was hesitant. These fears were put to rest almost right away. While the outlet is big it is relatively the same dimensions as the outlet and the placement of the plugs ensures that they can all be used. I have one in my kitchen and one in the living room and don't have to worry about overloading the circuit. I would recommend this to anyone who has need of extra plugs in a smaller space such as apartment, dorm, camper or wherever.

We have an older house that was wired with outlets that were meant to meet the demand of the day...back in the sixties before the explosion of electronic devices that need outlets in greater demand than were dreamt of 'back in the day'.I like the fact that if I zone out and try to run the hot water kettle and the microwave at the same time I won't have to run to the basement to reset the breakers. I can do it right at the red button on this multiple outlet.And it's a blessing for this old body to NOT have to stoop down and unplug one thing in order to plug something else in.The original outlet cover is removed and this one is plugged in and the long screw keeps it securely in place so it's not getting pulled out of the wall and having contact lost with the house current.Highly recommended. I've been using this type of outlet for years and have never had any of the outlets burn out or anything go bad with them.

The 6 outlet wall plug allows for a multitude of different sized plugs. The angled faces work very well. The plug fits tightly into the wall receptacle without the needing the fastening screw supplied. Get rid of the extension cords you might have for your computer and peripheral devices. The reset button provided an extra measure of safety. Good value for the money.

La instalación fue muy sencilla, sólo necesitas tener (o comprar un contacto doble con conexión a tierra) y con ello aumentas la cantidad de contactos, los cuales no están muy juntos evitando asà que se estorben unos a otros.Los materiales son de buena calidad y el acabado excelente, los recomiendo ampliamente.
