Easy to use and install. We are using it on our cold plunge system. Filters are common so lots of options. Has a nice bracket for mounting. Easy install and use. Works great.

This filter housing works very well for use with my cold plunge using 50 micro pleated filters. I wish it were a tad less restrictive for aquarium pump use (read low head pressure capable pump) but that is not a true designed use case for this filter, so I let it pass on that.The only real negative I can think of is the o-ring is not captured in any way, so be careful when replacing the filter that you don't drop the o-ring into the dirt or pinch it when tightening the housing.

I installed this in November and went to change the filter out for the first time last weekend. The pressure release button broke off and now the whole unit needs to be replaced. Disappointed.

Best general filter - especially since you can get a wide variety of filters to fit this so you can really meet your needs - so lets say you have well and it is gritty filter the sand out first then maybe a second filter with a charcole filter for taste

The Smart HQ app looks nothing like the marketing pix, and is unusually difficult to figure out. This product needs a simple app that shows how to turn valve on/off, shows leak detection, and other basics. No chat support that I could find, and the phone number was not answered. No mention of the app in the instructions, and no QR code to simply download it (took hours to determine that I was looking for an app called SmartHQ).This product has only 30 days to return, and it takes longer than that to find time to install, so I'm out of luck. Don't be fooled by the trusted GE label - this isn't your parents' GE.

they work great I used garden hose rubbers on the screw fittings and had no leaks. you have to buy the filters as they do not come with

Install went well had to snug up the outlet fitting as it weeped a bit. Use a good amount of Teflon tape and you probabe won't have an issue.Unit came with a 50 micron filter, which I changed after 10 days. I wanted a 5 micron filter in place, there was clear evidence on the filter that I changed out, that it was working. The bypass function worked fine and the swap was a breeze. The 5 micron fliter is a different type, so I am monitoring it's performance. Used another brand of filter and seems to be working as expected. We have a shallow well with UV light sterilizer.

I bought 2 units. Using one for Sediment Filters and one for Carbon. This has resolved the bad odors in the water in my house! Love the product so far!.
