So far so good. Bought it to match my profile range, which it does. More money for the the features than I wanted to spend, but items aren’t in stock right now due to covid. So I paid the price. Does everything it is supposed to.

This was returned once because of dent on the top front. This time there was a dent on the back edge but I kept it because it won’t be visible and I wasn’t looking forward to repacking it again and hauling it to the ups store.

This unit is top rated by Consumer Reports. As the years go by, I've learned to take their reports with a grain of salt. This microwave was installed today, and I'm sure, in accordance with the CU report, it'll perform well. Unlike the unit it replaced, this unit does not have a lighted control panel. This is in a house, where people live, and sometimes want something late at night, and don't want to blinded by turning on the room lights just to see a couple of buttons on the microwave. I'm concerned about the longevity of the unit, because GE chose to use a wheel with a push function for select. That means this one switch is going to rack up thousands of actuations, and I suspect this will be the weak link in the microwave, as I suspect this is not a repairable part. And at 1,000 Watts, this unit is less powerful than the one it replaced, so already we're seeing things take longer -- but I knew that when I chose it. Also the design for the mounting plate on the wall is weak. They could have done a much better job of anticipating some diversity in mounting situations, and created channels for different bolt and screw location constraints.

Although the back braces were slightly different we were able to install easily on our old (2005) setup. Unit has been working fine so far. Not having a number pad does take some getting used to but it works fine.

Not quite as powerful as our previous GE Profile microwave. Bit of a learning code for the settings
