If you have never stripped two of your existing wires, ask one of your red-neck friends. They'll be able to do this task with their teeth. If you don't have a red-neck friend to help out, pay a repairman $60/hour for the install.Zero issues with parts delivered. I ordered a new burner just because I used a metal file to get the corrosion off of my existing burner's connections. Wire nut and heat shrink has zero issues. Simple bending of the mount and it all worked perfectly.

The part worked great! The only problem I came across is the heat shrink tube they supplied was too small. It was fairly easy to install and a lot cheaper then a new stove!

The product worked great, easy to install and worth the price. Note I an really glad I purchased this part rather than the alternative designs. However, some GE ranges also require a grounding wire to be attached to one of the socket mounting brackets. Unfortunately, this product does not provide for the ground wire attachment. However, I was able to use the mounting bracket from the old socket. Thanks...

Easy to install. Fit my 35yr old GE range. The only comment I have is with the instructions. The way the instruction shows folding wires and wire nuts back and slipping heat shrink over them does not work as shown.The heat shrink is not large enough to do this. For this I only gave it four stars on install.

Not a genuine GE part. Made by a company called ERP (Exact Replacement Parts, Inc). Wirenuts included in package are plastic rather than heat resistant ceramic as in other replacement kits.

The is was supposed to be an exact replacement for a WB17X5113 Electric Range stove receptacle. You get what you pay for. The parts are plastic and cheap metal, and much narrower than the original. The screw hole on the receptacle that came with the kit was too small for the screw to reattach to the stove and a smaller screw would not hold the receptacle to the stove. I had to use the old holder and bend it to fit, so it does not hold the smaller receptacle as securely as I would like. It works for now but I think this is a temporary fix at best. Hopefully it will last until I replace the stove.

Genuine GE part. Fit my stove from the 1990's era. You will have to cut the wires from the old receptacle and splice together using the supplied wire nuts. Then slip on the heat shrink tubing over the wire nuts - also supplied - and shrink with a lighter or heat gun. Be sure to sand off any burn marks from the connectors on your burner unit to prevent shorting, or buy a new burner unit at the same time. Works like new now. I purchased directly from Amazon.
