I bought this to charge my laptop at the kitchen bar when I work there so I don't have to lug around my charging cable. It puts out enough juice to charge my microsoft surface laptop.The back side of the outlet is huge. It fills the entire area of the outlet opening behind the face plate. Make sure your wall box has enough depth to hold the wires behind the outlet.A bit expensive but I felt it was necessary to make my life easier.When they come down in price I'll start upgrading my USB-A outlets.
