I had one of these for years, and it finally broke where the retract line goes into the housing; unrepairable. It works well, as shown by the repurchase to replace a broken unit.The one compliant is that on rough roads the mic will get to swinging, and a heavy Astatic mic can cause some serious bodily harm if it gets up enough velocity and bonks you on the head.
