The original plastic clip eventually gave up... Bought this one and it feels well made... Definitely stronger than the original. Hopefully it'll last well longer than the original.

I have quite a collection of lapel mics now since I've been testing them while upgrading my audio equipment. My best lapel mic has this crummy plastic clip and I wanted to improve that. I was excited to see these "gator clip" looking ones with a spring grip. I had something like this years ago from a Sony Condenser mic and it was really good, as I remember it.The package came with two clips, and I managed to get my favorite mic into the clip with a little help from a pair of needle nose pliers. I was a little nervous to open the loop up like I did. But, once the mic was in place, a little pinch closed with the needle nose pliers held it in place solid. After that, I took my other good lapel mic and did the same procedure with the second clip - open it up a bit more, place microphone in it, pinch closed. Perfect fit and even better than my first try.All this goes to say, I'm really happy with these microphone clips. If one were to break (from my heavy handed use) I would gladly buy more to replace them.

Shouldn't have been hard to install, but was a challenge. Once on, it's good.

How do you judge a mic clip other than it holds the mic and you're able to attach it to your lapel? Well, this does exactly that. It doesnt do literally anything else, however, it does it really well. So, if youre in the market for some replacement lav mic clips, get these. They'll do the job

It's not what I really wanted as those microphone clips don't really rotate but they are fixed.

These saved me in a pinch, but they fit very loose and not flush.

These do not fit Shure body packs I tested them on the GLXD1(mic), QLXD1(Mic) or P3RA(monitor).
Le quedo genial a mi cajita de shure…

You can bet these alligator clips are way better than the cheap clips from all those generic lav mics you see here on Amazon.I wish the clips closed a little harder, but the teeth makes it a non-issue. I have to pull quite hard to make the clips slip off thanks to the teeth, and the clips are deep.I am very happy I got these. Definitely get a separate pair of clips for yourself and stop fighting with the cheap clips of your generic lav mic!

When I saw the shape of them they reminded me of something I had seen before and wondered if they were large enough. I did not realize just how small they really were but by the pictures you can see they fit into the air vents in my bus and held my sign in place. So for my purpose they worked quite well

Both clips broke after a few months of use. The actual piece that holds the mic isn't strong enough for repeated use

I ordered these microphone tie clips for some Lavalier microphones that have terrible clips. These new clips from Amykite have far exceeded my expectations. The gator jaws on the clips are deep and the spring closure gives them a solid grip on whatever they are fastened to. The spring metal ring is easy to manipulate and is thankfully forgiving when I took my pliers to them as my microphones were too big to fit originally. With a bit of pressure, I squeezed the rings back into shape and I now have an extra useable set of mics that I no longer fear losing as I move about. I’ve had lots of microphones with crumby clips, and I would say these would be an excellent, budget-friendly replacement.
