I don't normally leave a review but I just received my S3 Plus yesterday it was pretty easy to install, I was impressed with the audio I can listen to music up to 100mph (little hard due to wind but still can hear) and talking through bluetooth I was told on the freeway about 80mph (also due to wind)The camera pretty good I haven't messed with it too much the app is a little pain once you figure how to navigate too easy but the camera itself good it's not blurry, doesn't buff, or anything. It's more of the app then anything. The controls are conveniant, the voice controls aren't in English but changing the station, volume, answering phone calls etc isn't difficult. It's pretty good me and my family each have one and all ride together.

I'm already riding a motorcycle and the last thing I want is to have to deal with is a buggy, overcomplicated piece of tech with too many functions or give me basic voice prompts to let me know that it's even functioning.First of all, I'm glad that I waited to figure out how it works before I installed it in my helmet. I connected it to the headphones and turned on the device. It gave a voice greeting letting me know that it was on. After that, things became difficult. I was able to connect the Bluetooth to my phone and I played some music, but it seems that the camera function interferes with the Bluetooth function. Volume control became useless until I held the buttom for video recording to turn it off. Then, I turned off Bluetooth and moved on to the recording function to test the controls. Clearly, I know that the audio and some voice prompts work at this point, but everything quickly went downhill from there. To record video, the instructions say, push dashcam on/off button and a voice prompt will say: "recording"Nothing happens. To take a screenshot, the instructions say, press screenshot button while recording (the same recording you won't know is working because there was no voice prompt!!) and you'll hear a shutter sound.Nothing happens. To turn Wi-Fi on/off, the instructions say, press and hold Screenshot button for 3 seconds and voice prompt will say: "Wi-Fi On," "Wi-Fi Off"Nothing happens. This is a big deal, because without connecting to the phone and the Roadcam app, there's no point in having a camera in the first place because there's no way for me to view the images. Now, I'm annoyed, but the instructions have a step for resetting the dashcam: When the dashcam is turned on, but not functioning properly (Oh my GOD I can't imagine THAT ever happening!!!) uncover the TF card slot, locate the camera reset hole and insert the reset pin.Ok, the reset pin literally feels like it's not touching or doing anything at all. The hole itself just likes like it opens into a flat internal piece of plastic, so you can guess where this is going....NOTHING HAPPENS!So, the Bluetooth audio appears to function, but that's not why I bought the dashcam. The singularly MOST important function of the dashcam is WORTHLESS!

I purchased this because I wanted to add video to my helmet headset and this seemed like a great deal as I already have a GEARELEC helmet headset which I love. This think performed excellent!! The sound coming from the speakers was quite loud and could be heard within my helmet at excess speeds. I have a helmet that is notorious for wind noise and I had zero issues hearing my music and phone calls while riding. The button are ergonomically designed and easy to operate, even with gloves. There is actually a voice prompt to let you know when the camera is on and ready to record so you don’t have to fiddle with the buttons and hope it operational. It says recording when you depress the button the second time. The video, which I attempted to post but was not allowed for some reason is excellent and clear. The video did record and was stabilized and provided an excellent viewing experience without the bouncing around and shaking. I haven’t had to charge it in the past month which is indicative of the battery life after using it at minimum 3-4 times a week! I’d say if you are on the fence about just buy it, you will not be disappointed. Are there better options? Absolutly but not at this feature packed price point!! Did I mention it also had Fm radio? Well it does and it functions flawlessly!!

I like this idea. The video is actually very decent. The device is basically a dashcam (it says dashcam active) and and Bluetooth intercom in one. You can even turn one off and the other on. It’s like two devices in one. Haven’t figured out all the settings but the cool part is it records your music, calls, com, and narration so it’s great for motovlogging. It is a bit cumbersome. It is larger than most com setups. But it is smaller than having a com and a camera. And it minimizes things I have to charge.Biggest issue I have is the way it mounts. My helmet (strada 3) couldn’t use the clip so I tried to use the adhesive mount. It fell off. So I got impatient and glued it on. Hasn’t moved since and I got it in the perfect spot for camera. Other than that it’s pretty cool. Oh the voice commands only work in Chinese so I guess it’ll help learn some languages too. Overall I’m happy I got it and the video is much better than the bike mounted cam I have.

The Gearelec Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset with Camera is a game-changer! Not only does the Bluetooth work flawlessly, providing clear sound for music and calls even at high speeds, but the built-in camera is an incredible bonus. The video quality is sharp, capturing my rides beautifully. It’s easy to use, with intuitive controls that work well even with gloves on. Battery life is great, lasting through long rides with both the headset and camera running. I feel so much safer knowing I have everything recorded, and it’s added so much enjoyment to my trips. Highly recommend to any rider looking for quality, convenience, and safety in one package. Five stars!
