Very nice wrench seems durable. I have always purchased Gearwrench tools and they seem like quality tools. Haven't had any issues with these tools yet. I really like the features of this torque wrench how it vibrates to warn you of the torque.

Works great. Didn't want to get a fancy digital one until I knew i liked it. This one seems accurate. The only thing I noticed when doing angles is its only accurate on the first set, but I was close to maxing it out so it might not off liked it

I've used this torque wrench to replace the timing belt and camshaft seals on an iForce 2UZ-FE and a couple of German suspension jobs. The flexing head is really useful for tight spaces and the red and green warning lights are bright enough when you're in tight spaces.Sure, it doesn't have lights on the side of the wrench so it can be a little difficult to see if you're bout to hit your spec, but the rhythmic vibrations kind of help once you get accustomed to it. There is a 90 second shutoff, which can get a little annoying but it does help conserve battery life. The white markings on the buttons must be indestructible because I've covered them in dirt, grease, and oil for weeks and after a quick wipe they're back to bright white. Now, this is still a digital torque wrench which means you need AA batteries. Which sucks because if you forget to take them out, you could destroy this $200 wrench. That said, it's 2024. Rechargeable batteries exist and they don't leak battery acid everywhere. Buy a pack and rotate them out. I still take mine out because it's a good habit to get into.Harbor Freight offers a wrench like this for a bit less but it doesn't have angle and what's the point in buying a digital torque wrench if it doesn't have angle? I'm biding my time to get the GW 1/2 version for a good deal.If you're a DIY guy or a Semi-Professional like me who's not working on cars enough to justify selling both kidneys to pay off a 96-mo lease on a Snap-On digital torque wrench. This is the perfect example of getting more than your money's worth.

I will start with what i don't like, I am very old school, I still like the click type, its distinct and noticeable, you got to be so out of it to over shoot the torque setting. The new digital ones, yes it vibrates, yes LCD screen changes color, but the vibration is not as noticeable, ( too soft ), yes it beeps, if your working environment is not quite, you are likely to miss the beep, and could lead over torque, specially ones require lesser of torque.. this is the only complaint I have..for this matter its one star off...Here are the things I likeI specially like the price, way cheaper compair to ones sell from tool truck..I like the accuracy of this tool, along with the flex head. I think this is a key aspect of a precision instrument.I like the fine tooth gear rachet head,I like the aluminum handle, its grippy its solid.I like it can do all the conversion from ft lb to inch lb to Nm, of course within the minimum and maximum capacity of the torque wrench.I like it degree setting is also be able to achieve by few press of buttons.I also like It comes with a nice storage box, I take battery out each time I using it for that day..Over all I like it.

Whoever designed the programming on this torque wrench never had to torque multiple bolts in an engine re-assembly! The software needs to be re-designed to only do a "Beep" when it hits the desired torque - NOT before. And a nice feature would be to mute the frustrating wrench. If it made ONE quiet "Beep" when you hit the desired torque- Just like all the click type torque wrenches have done dor decades! Absolutely no need for ANY Beeping or Buzzing before the desired torque is reached!I often have to torque dozens of bolts when re-assembling engines - and many are Torque/Angle specs, but I am sending this torque wrench back and either just going back to my "1 click when torque is reached" mechanical torque wrench - unless I discover someone who makes an electronic torque wrench that doesn't sound like a fire alarm and vibrate like a Harley Davidson in my hand before it ever reaches the desired torque! It is super frustrating that this torque wrench starts LOUDLY BUZZING and BEEPING way before reaching the desired torque or desired angle. It has a wonderful flex head and fine teeth, but it's all defeated by the frustrating beeps and vibrations before the desired torque is reached. It also does not accurately indicate angle if you cannot do it in 1 pass. Testing the torque against the test stand, it varies in when it hits the torque plus or minus about 15% and doesn't repeat well.Sending it back and looking for an alternative that doesn't drive me crazy with all the noise and vibration this one puts out!

There are a lot of complaints about this tool, is accurate, yes. Most of the complaints that I have seen is user error. First of all, if you are a person that is used to the click style torque bar, you will struggle in the beginning like I did ,just like anything new. You will have to get use to timing the sound/vibration vs the click. It has 2 different vibrations/ sounds , one lets you know you are with in tolerance range( whatever you set the percentage at) the second round of beeps/ vibrates is when you hit your target ( note when it signals you that you have hit your target, you actually 2-5%from your target, this’ keeps you from going over) take a look at the screen & finish the last remaining % , then hit the clear button & go to the next bolt. If you want accuracy this is your tool, if you like speed the click style is for you I’m pretty fast with both, I had to practice. Whether you go click vs digital, they are both two different type of tools.

Seems well constructed, but I found I had to look at the display all the time to see what torque I was at, as the final 'target reached' sound alarm and changing screen colours trigger way too early.
