The cons for me is this thing is only 22.5" long. I'd preferred 32" to be able to press to 250ftlb. I'm telling you you're not going to be able to hit to max torque unless you hit the gym twice a day. Secondly, the gray on blue marker (1 increment) is incorrect choice. They should've used pure white. It's really hard to get proper contrast but no where as bad as HF Pittsburg Pro version And now for the pros. The black on gray marker (15 increment) is excellent, you can easily see it. It stood out like sore thumb. Then 1 ft-lb increment turns and easily snapped and locked into place and it's secured. Not like HF version which requires manually turning bottom screws. Felt solid in hand, tested on lug nuts it easily achieves 80 ft-lb. I read a lot of bad reviews it seems like users are not knowing how to use torque wrench. If you are an absolute beginner, please watch multiple YT videos. I'd strongly recommend you stick to one unit. Me it's FT-LB all the time. And start out with a BIG bolt like your lug nut so even if you over torque you ain't going to break it. Whereas you newbie starting out on small bolt you can easily over torqued then you blame the product. It's not cool. You're supposed to STOP when you hear a click. This is a mechanical clicker NOT electronic. Electronic version requires different feeling, extremely different and you can actually over torque due to lack of feedback feeling, it just beeps. Mechanical requires you to STOP when you hear the first click, there is no early warning you must STOP. GO SLOW then STOP when you here CLICK. Let's say if your specs stated 80 then set to 40 to go to 60 then go 80. Get this practice right and you'll never have any problem, I promised.

I had to use this on lug nuts for an RV, to 500ft/lbs of torque, and didn't want to use a torque multiplier. This is a well made tool, heavy and solid, with a nice finish. I like the case it came with so I don't have to worry about it getting banged up. I carry this in the RV to check the torque. Since I took all the wheels off to upgrade the suspension, I have to re-check the torque after driving it. The case makes it easy to transport. That and the head has 2 allen head screws so it can be removed to shorten the tool to fit in the case. The adjustment does take some wrist strength, especially if you are changing it by a large amount. It takes a while to get from 150 to 500 as I had to. I also use this on the sway bar bolts(150ft/lbs) abd the leaf spring u-bolts(250ft/lbs). So having a wide range helped a lot. I didn't have another wrench capable of comparing the torque so I can't vouch for accuracy. When I hit the set torque the click was nice and solid, easy to tell. 500lbs is a lot of torque, I ended up standing on the end to get the torque I needed and this thing didn't flex at all. Great tool.

I never write reviews. In this case I just don't understand how it gets that much of stars. It's very easy to use, somewhat good in reading the scale. But it's useless because the torque doesn't work.I mistakenly bought two of these and even started return on one of them before tried them.Neither of them clicks. Even on the lowest settings. I used torque wrenches before and I know how they work. The instructions did not reveal anything new for me either.I see how I can receive a single damaged item from a good manufacturer once in a while. But two of them in a row? Highly unlikely.Of course I'm returning both of them.UPDATED:I was able to to make these click by applying an extra pressure from non-torque wrench. Now they are working properly. They both are now clicking at pretty much the same torque (while checking them against each other).I'm adding the stars and going to keep one of them.

I was in a bind for a torque wrench with lower torque spec. It arrived on time and did the job. It is good quality and reasonably priced too.

Yup, this one has cost me nearly a thousand bucks - was not clicking at 110 ft.lbs (or anything) and I have used many torque wrenches over the past 40 years. First serious job.Over-torqued a wheel stud and it broke.I'm so angry, I am not even raging any longer. So result is a new hub, new bearing and huge inconvenience, on a Jeep Trackhawk - so no room for error.Never, ever again.Cheap, crappy tool, and I have been taught an expensive lesson. So, buy at your risk, you have been warned - and those which look just like these - all the same cheap garbage tools with a completely worthless calibration cert.I'm a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and deal with torque application every day - that's what makes me even madder...I bought this a while ago, just to get ready for a specific job and I'm glad I found out how bad this is before doing a crankshaft pulley bolt on a super rare classic car.Nope.It's too late to return, so it's going in the trash - it's honestly that unreliable.

I bought this for bicycle maintenance, and overall it's a great value. The tool and bits seem to have a great build-quality. It's a mechanical torque wrench, no digital readout. The instructions are not very clear in how to use, but it works similar to any other mechanical torque wrench. Even units are for ft-lbs, not N-m. In other words, N-m units are on the opposite side, but not in even increments but rather converted from even ft-lbs, so it's a bit challenging to, for example, set it to an even N-m unit. My bicycle torque specs are in N-m, so I simply convert my desired N-m to ft-lb and use that scale instead.

Works very well if you're a home gamer. You can hear and feel the click. Fairly easy to read. Worth the $86. Little rough on the Finish around the barrel. But would buy again
