About this item

  • Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding
  • Thin head and beam provide greater access in confined work areas

The GEARWRENCH combination ratcheting wrenches feature a 5 degree ratcheting arc vs. 30 degree on a standard combination wrench increasing productivity. The wrenches feature off-corner loading for better grip and reduced fastener rounding. The wrenches have a sleek head design allowing access to tight spots where a ratchet would not fit.

I got this for some work on my VW and the wrenches haven't disappointed. They fit into tight spots, have low arc of swing and ratchet. What more can you ask for? They have taken a regular beating under the usual circumstances you come into when working in cars. Dropped from head height onto concrete, with no issue. Slapped around an engine bay, with no issue. These things are tough and very useful. No issues so far from me.

If you do any of your own work on any automobiles, atvs/utvs, snowmobiles or the like you'll want a set! They are a life saver at times.

Gearwrench makes solid wrenches been using them for years. Only reason not a 5* is the description does not cover the sizes, and I figured it would have the most common. Product has 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 18mm. And in standard it has 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, and 11/16. IMO should have a 17mm instead of the 18mm, and should have 3/4 instead of 11/16.

Much needed addition to my toolbox. Really like the ratcheting for quicker use.
