Really great product. Completely eradicating all chlorine from our city water to the house. First picture shows we have 3 parts per million Chlorine coming from the city. 3rd picture shows after the filters, ZERO Chlorine!!! I have read other reviews about these and other similar filters coming apart because people think they're cheaply made. Although I have just installed these and only been using them for a couple weeks now, I personally belive people having those experiences are due to their water pressure. You absolutely need to test your pressure and make sure you're not running anything over 80 PSI through these filters. If your pressure is over 80, you need to replace or install a new water Pressure Regulating Valve. I personally love these filters so far and my family and I can notice several differences from before and after we had them. Better, cleaner, and crisper taste. Our skin feels better showering without all of the Chlorine. Honestly, I cant believe how much Chlorine is in the city water. More than an average pool!!! We are more than satisfied with these filters and look forward to seeing their performance in the months to come and how long they last before needing to change.

Been running this in my home a year now. Picture shows the old vs new for both 20 micron and 5 micron. Thats stright city water, all my plumbing is pex so these filters have been protecting my appliances and me from stright rust and other stuff. Would consider this a minimum requirement.

I’ve been historically dependent on the filter housing manufacturer for periodic replacement of my 4½†by 20†whole-house filters, Geekpure now provides an affordable alternative. I have a three-filter unit that needs replacement annually except the sediment filter, which I replace at six-month intervals due to its sediment buildup. The other two filters in my set are a carbon filter used to remove the chlorine taste in our water and a scale filter. I replaced both the sediment and carbon filters this time since they were both included in Geekpure’s filter kit.Comparing Geekpure’s filters to my existing ones, I saw no difference in their size or appearance. The filters fit perfectly in the filter housings. The only functional difference seen was the fine white powdered cloudiness produced by the new carbon filter. After a few hours of normal use, the cloudiness went away. I had this happen once before. It was caused by some of the carbon in the carbon filter passing through, although, at that time, the cloudiness was black.I regret that Geekpure doesn’t sell a complete three-filter set. For that, I still have to go back to the filter system’s manufacturer. Perhaps they’ll add that option in the future.

Pictures show the brand I had been using vs the Geekpure filters in this order. For Sediment - I had been using the aquaboon filters because they had the pleated paper filter and they were 1 micron vs the 5 micron Geekpure. The difference in size isn't that important for the first phase, so I'm ok with the 5 micron Geekpure. The Geekpure looks like an interesting approach - and I've installed it and the initial results look good. For the 2nd phase of filtering, I had been using a 10" Whirlpool. I installed a 20" enclosure so I could change to the Geekpure filter. In the past, I've noticed that if your water has particles in it, and the Carbon Block filter does a very good job, you could end up with no water pressure when the carbon block fills with particles. Having a 20" filter rather than a 10" filter should help with this.Installed and it all looks good. And, the price is great.

I have a very robust water treatment system and the final stage is for flavor. Straight from the city, my water tastes like dog-bath water, and smells the same, along with old egg salad.Prior to these, I only used more expensive 'radial-flow' filters. The (claimed) point of them is to reduce flow restriction while still preserving all the filtration abilities. They are well over twice the price of these, but do only need to be changed twice a year. What can I say besides perhaps I have been duped? These work just as well right now, although I've only had them for a couple weeks. My water has not been restricted more than it was with the 'radial-flow' filters, which is the most surprising thing to me honestly. So how long will these last? How long will my water remain tasteless, odorless, and free-flowing? We will see, but for now I have to give these five stars!

Better priced than some well known ones but I think they are very good quality cartridges'. Packaged very well. No issues installing them.

Filter cartridges arrived quickly and well packaged. Installed them in my whole-house big-blue filter housings and they fit perfectly. I have been using this brand for a number of years and with my household water consumption, I replace annually with no drop in pressure or foul taste from the city water. Well done Geekpure!
