The first one I ordered came with a chip on the face of the stone. I didn’t see the chipped piece anywhere in the sealed plastic bag, which makes me think it was packed that way. It was shipped in a brown envelope with no packing materials, besides a small velvet bag. I needed it for an event 3 days after the damaged one arrived, and was able to get a second one sent out immediately. It arrived the day of the event (when I told the Amazon rep I needed it the day before), and while it did still have a couple very small chips, they weren’t noticeable unless you were looking for blemishes, so I wore it to the event. I did get several compliments on it, and the blue stone looks great, considering we know it’s pretty cheap. If you’re like me and want to get something on a budget, this piece can work, just order it with enough time to get a replacement if necessary, since the quality is hit or miss.
