We do a lot of 3D printing and have recently adopted PETG as a favorite construction material, which can leave some roughness and stringiness on the final product in places. These generally pop right off, but in hard-to-reach gaps, it can be difficult to clean the print up and keep it looking sharp.I got these in and they've done wonders for making sure the various things we create have super clean surfaces. Very handy.The only downside is the case. I tried to slide a finger into the belt loop on the back of the faux-leather case, and the loop ripped a hole in the back of the case almost effortlessly. Sheesh! So buy these for the handy selection of files, but if the case is your deciding factor, look elsewhere.

I'm a locksmith and needed a fine file. These are excellent quality. The cut is such that you should only be filing in One direction. They are super sharp and by varying pressure you can get a fairly smooth finish, or cut quickly. They are not meant to be treated roughly, but for their use perfectly. If you're looking for a sharp file that doesn't leave a rough cut, these are perfect. If came with a nice hard case too. I don't understand the negative reviews other than most people don't know how to actually use a file correctly.

While the handle is handy and comfortable, the files are of mediocre quality. Expect to work longer compared to high quality files. The set may be fine for occasional use, yet it's better avoided if you consider fine files a primary tool and intend to use it regularly.

Files are very unevenly toothed. Some areas are nearly flat. End of file is sharply cut off and won't fit nicely into the pouch. Handle 'nose' was bent on receipt and I had to straighten it to allow a file to be inserted.Sides of flat file are toothed, not smooth. Poor for detail work due to this.Might be that the case is the best part, to hold nicer files when I find them.

Little cheap feeling, files don't fit handle great but good for a light use. Case doesn't fit handle amazingly, wished it sat a little flatter so it fit into toolbox better
