Exact replacement tip. Screws in, I suggest using a tiny bit of thread locker on threads to keep it in.

Seats well in my ole auto-center punch. Threads seem tight and well formed. I had to oil my center punch to get the deep indentation I expected, not the tips fault, mine....The tip stays sharp for multiple uses so far... For the price and connivence of shipping, you can’t go wrong!

Useful product but the way they design these tips especially on the smaller ones (#79) is a joke. If you drop it once it breaks. Even a smart phone can take a couple of drops. The threading is too small. At least they give you the entire assembly now with the tip to fix it.

This is a perfect replacement for the tip I broke. Used it on harden metals and it still is able to leave a nice tick mark.
