I bought these for my six year to go along with a microscope he got for Christmas. After reading others reviews, I was happy to find they were about what I expected. They are perfect for a beginner. I like the variety of objects to look at and the fact that they come in a nice box to store them. He was so excited to play these and they have spurred a lot of educational discussions. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

got these slides as an addition to a microscope I bought for a for yr old to study about science. Hopefully, this will encourage him to explore the hidden treasures of our planet under magnification. It has plant and insect parts and should peak more exploration. They were a good starter set for any inexpensive microscope.

My 6 yr old daughter loves looking at these slides, she got both Set 1 and 2 with her microscope as a christmas gift. Kept her occupied and entertained for hours. It is great that there are multiple specimens on one slide and they are labeled so she knows what she is looking at. Very well prepared. The various animal hairs looked a lot like each other, wish there was a little more variety, but overall it was money well spent.

Great birthday gift for our 6 year year old nephew who wants to be a scientist. We got this to go along with a microscope and he was soooo excited! I love that he has some prepared starter slides to understand what it's all about!

Bought this product to accompany a child's microscope, and my 7 and 5 yr old grandchildren love seeing the variety of specimens included in these slides. Good for beginning science exploration.

This product is terrific for children as the slides have a large variety and they are easy for little hands to manage. These slides certainly met our expectations and they are very educational for young children.
