This came in a cute gift box, so it's great for a birthday or holiday gift. Unfortunately the pin like attachment on the top broke off almost immediately so we have not used yet. My husband purchased some glue that should do the trick, but in the hands of a 6 year old it snapped off quite easily. It looks like a fun toy, but my advice would be to keep in the hands of an adult so you child doesn't mess it up. We can't wait to try it after it is fixed. My daughter loved receiving it as a gift and it comes with everything you need to make some cute styles!

My great niece loves this and loves trying to do everyones hair now! Good quality and lots of food-dads in there. She’s happy with it so I am to!

So, I'm a bit on the fence about this one. When you open it, you're surprised to see that there is so much included in the box! The "braider", the beader, hair accessories, a cute little fold-up brush that my 4 year old little girl thought was the best thing ever!Then I took it out of the box... I really hate to be harsh on anything because I feel like most people probably work really hard to develop their business and get it going, etc., but I also feel as though if I'm writing for Vine, then I need to be totally honest so that people buying things can make an informed decision on hearing REAL reviews and not just the fake stuff that is out there so much. So, with that being said, while it's adorable looking, it's made of incredibly INCREDIBLY cheap-feeling plastic. The kind that feels like if you dropped it on the floor, it would break in multiple bits & pieces. But okay, that was my first thought.There are NOT enough instructions on how to do it. I figured it out, but only because I had something similar when I was younger. It's definitely not the easiest thing to do - get all the ends of the hair clipped into the bottom, but not letting the "braider" hang off of her hair. My baby has waist-length hair, so I'm not sure if that made it more or less difficult. Actually, I think different parts made it both sometimes harder and sometimes easier lol. With the very first time I used it to "braid" her hair, the jewel on the power button broke off. It didn't effect the performance of it, but my little one was sad that, "the giant treasure 'bwoke' right off". Obviously not the first thing you want to see happen the first time you're using it. So, as for the performance.... You may have notice I've written "braided" in quotations a few times... That is simply because it does NOT braid. It twists the hair and yes, the twists are pretty cute, but they are NOT braids. And in all honesty I wanted it for braids since her hair is sooo long it takes a bit for just a single braid.The little hair clips that came with it were pretty useless - at least the ones we tried. They wouldn't close together correctly, so you couldn't get it to snap. The little rubber bands worked fine though lol.All in all it was a bit hard for me to rate this. If you're looking for something to BRAID hair, this is NOT it. It does the cute twists, as I mentioned, but to call it a Braider isn't quite what I'd call it.It's very cute, but if you get it I'd just be delicate with it and not let the little ones play with it, because it definitely doesn't seem like it's going to be super durable.

My daughter hated it. She said it was extremely hard for her to use and her hair mostly got knotted up and she said "looked nothing like the pictures."

The clips that snap into the wand are not even. They're hard to get snapped in and it feels like they're going to break just putting them in. Upon trying to take them out, they do not want to come back out so I've just left them in. This wand does not braid, it just makes twists. It twists each indivstrand you put in then it twists the twisted strands together. The wands and everything that comes with them really don't feel very sturdy. Feel cheap like they will break easily. It's okay. My daughter was kind of scared of it pulling her hair. She has a tender head anyway. I was hoping it would be something we'd use a lot, but she's not up to it often.

Cool little gift for my niece. It feels like a toy, but she's happy with it. 4 stars because it could be more durable feeling.
