I originally bought a traditional latch for my vinyl fence but I put my double gates too close together, so that latch would not work. I came across this one as I was searching the internet for a solution. This latch was easy to install and solved my problem! I honestly like it better because it is not as bulky as the traditional latch. At $30, it was double the cost of the cheapest traditional latch I could find (which is the one I talked about above) but it was definitely worth it!

Quality of the hardware is excellent and works very smoothly! I showed it to my neighbor who promptly ordered two of them for his gates!! Easy to install (best to use an auger-style bit rather than a paddle bit) and makes going in and out of the gate kinda fun! Highly recommend!! Also, delivery was prompt!!

Works fine. Not too complicated to install.The plastic conector to thick for the pulling wire and most of the time require more than one bit to drill the correct size.

This was a really nice option in opening the backyard gate. I wanted the backyard to still be assessable externally, but more hidden than some of the other options. Looks great and was fairly easy to setup (the video was helpful).
