This gets the job done until the string breaks. I would just swap out the string with a wire or something stronger.

I needed something to actually lock when you close the gate by itself, cause everyone kept leaving it opened. Now they just close it and it comes down and locks. Yay

I have to say that this has been great. The installation was very easy and everything just worked out on it. I even did this outside at night in the dark while it was raining and still was able to install it within 5 mins or less.
