This is the absolutely BEST tick remover EVER! Ticks - ewww!!! So horrible to find one or more on your beloved pet or just as bad, on yourself! And, they are tricky to remove, but NOT NO MORE! (I know, I sound like an infomercial lol) but it's the truth! This tick remover works 100% of the time and it couldn't be any simpler to use! I have bought them for ALL MY FRIENDS and have even given them out as gifts for Christmas and everyone who has had to use it tells me it is the BEST TICK REMOVER EVER! Please do yourself and your pet (if you have one) a favor and buy these; heck, by several and hand them out - your friends will be most grateful! I don't know how I ever lived without this tick remover and now I make sure I have one at all times in my purse, my car and in my house!

With all the talk this year about ticks, I decided to search Amazon for a tick remover.I settled on 'The Original Ticked Off Tick Remover' ,made in the USA, seems to be simple to use, and it's been Independently University Lab tested.I decided to purchase this particular packaging of a total of 6 Ticked Off Tick Removers. I kept two for myself & gave 2 to each of my children.Thankfully we haven't had to use it yet. I'll update my review when we do.To use**May be used in any direction to remove ticks, from front, back or side**Once the tick has been isolated, is clearly visible and free from obstruction, place the wide part of the notch on the skin near the tick (hold skin taut if necessary). Applying slight pressure downward on the skin, slide the remover forward so the small part of the notch is framing the tick.**Continuous forward sliding motion detaches the tick.**(Do not pry, lever or lift up.)**The tick is now completely removed for disposal (You might want to put it in a container or plastic bag to save for testing).**Treat the wound as needed.**Clean your tick remover with alcohol or similar disinfectant.

Oh my. We bought these 'spoons' AFTER our dog already had a tic. But decided he got this one, there'll probably be more. SO the spoon. We had just gotten to bed, my husband fell dead asleep, and as I was dozing I was petting the dog. I felt something near his armpit, and figured it might be a knot that I'd felt there the other day. But wait a minute... this knot seems to have gotten bigger. Too much bigger, too fast. So I turned on the light and sure enough, a tic. Went into my husband's office, found the package with the set of 3 spoons, read the directions, returned to the dog, still asleep on his back (this animal is WAY laid back). I used to fingers on either side of the tic to stretch the skin, then applied the spoon as directed, and voila! Tic removed! I had lost grip with the 2 fingers, so there was a little pulling and unfortunately took a little skin with it. But I'd laid the spoon on the counter to take a pic, and the tic soon was crawling around the spoon intact. BLEH! Sorry I can't add a photo but trust me. It worked perfectly. We're buying more and giving them out to everyone we know who has a dog!

This product was recommended to me by a park ranger that swears by them. He said that he typically gets tick bites a few times a year and that the Ticked Off tick remover is the best tick remover that he has used.
