The description is accurate and the product is good. Just beware read the sizes and pay attention I did but other might freak out. They are great for putting on a mini lathe and making small pins etc. would buy again

As described. Straight and smooth. We used in a hobby project as a sliding shaft. Was easy enough to hacksaw and grind, but strong enough not to bend in our application.

Well, it is a round stainless steel metal rod about 1/4 around. If it is what you need then, yeah, it’s great. I used this on a proton pack and didn’t need all of it. Shiny

This kit of small stainless rod is handy around the shop. Building model engines, I quickly found the selection useful. Americans might be surprised at the actual small size. It's and inch/metric thing. Nevertheless highly recommended.Edit. Brilliant lathe stock. Needed a .1875" wrist pin for a model engine build. This stuff turns perfectly. Surface finish is superb. This kit is a must for model makers.
