I like how easy this was to set up. It is my first glass cutter and I am very satisfied. I have made near perfect cuts almost every time, even with very thick wine bottles. It takes patience and a lot of back and forth with the boiling hot water and ice water.I have a bit of a hard time keeping my line from veering to one side before making it all the way around. Maybe I am pushing too hard. I am very new to this.

This is useless. It can't hold a bottle in a position to cut a straight line. I think a hammer would make a straighter cut. DONT BUY THIS JUNK...

Having trouble scoring on the bottle. It keeps breaking.

The instruction paper (pictures only) did not help me set it up. Been waiting anxiously for it to get here. Useless because I can’t use it

I bought this to make treasured memories from the wineries we’ve been to. I can’t get a single bottle to rest in the rollers, it moved around, the cutter doesn’t stay in place, you have to hold it, so there have been no straight cuts. I’ve tried 5 bottles, I get a gouge as I’ve gone over several times, but the bottle just breaks. The hot and cold water method haven’t worked yet.

It's not easy to use. The cutter doesn't stay put when cutting so it causes inaccurate and crooked cuts. Adjusting it is difficult and time consuming. Wingnuts are below the base so you have to lift the whole device to adjust it. When making several small adjustments it makes it a pain. Would like my money back but just past return date. grrr

This bottle cuttter is not well constructed. Operation not simple and results are below expectations.

I am a complete novice at bottle cutting, so it comes as no surprise that my first 3 attempts were failures. The 1st and 2nd failed because my score lines didn't match up. The 3rd was a1.5 litre vodka bottle which was a bit ambitious for a starter! It exploded during the hot/cold process and I'm still picking out bits of glass from my hair. Once I figured out how to lock the rotating blade, and how to keep the system steady, it works a treat. Until I get more confidence, I am wrapping the bottle in a tea towel during the hot/cold process. It takes longer but the shattered vodka bottle taught me a lesson.
