Got this oil to help with our new hobby of cutting bottles to make glasses. It worked perfectly. It has a very viscous consistency and has help us maintain the life of the cutting heads longer. It is also a great value for the money. You do not have to use very much to lubricate the cutting heads and it last a long time. Very happy with this oil and its properties.

My first go at 1 of my fish tank covers was kind of a flop because it did not completely go the way that I wanted it to, but it still worked. The second was perfect and the third is perfect. I'm looking forward to the rest of my work because chiseling out places for the filter to go and a full cover fish tank cover is a talent that people will pay for I'm sure.The product I was using was a 5 mm or 6 mm thick cover for a tank for a fish. It has a plastic guide in the center of the foldable glass panel with glass on each side of the foldable plastic and it has a sticker. You can put on for lifting up-and-down the glass panel for the fish tank. Getting this glass cutter was very successful in tandem. With another tool used that was basically scratching the indentation of the marking for the glass cutting, and the pliers that came with the set were altogether a success at making the fish tank cover. Cover the fish tank at the same time as providing Space for the filter air pump, etc.I marked out about an inch and a quarter and cut a rectangle out of the back of one of the panels, which was a 6 mm thick and a 4 wide long and a 20 inch long material. Great materials. I love loading the pen with oil. It is a great set.

Does not keep bottle from moving as you score it, leading to a poor score and glass breakage when trying to separate the pieces. Needs a firmer base/stand to work properly. Not too happy with this purchase, but I can use the parts and mount them on wood to firm up my scores. My suggestion is look at YouTube videos before purchasing this.

So I was hoping to use this to cut older bottles. They are all different sizes, lengths, diameters, etc...this has a bunch of screws and wheels and stoppers and other stuff that need adjusting. So if you were cutting bottle after bottle that were all exactly the same this would probably work great for you. If they are all different then the amount of time it takes to "dial in" this cutter its not worth it. Also, cutting older bottles that have a heavier wall this doesn't work great, but that isn't their fault, just an FYI if that is what you are planning. Even with an even score the results were very poor.

We used this for cutting wine bottles and it worked great, however, if you needed to cut it on the shorter “bottom “ side, it did not work for that. If you are a bigger, this tool works great for you.
