Long-lasting glass-cutting oil really works. It stands up to higher heat caused by cutting glass, and you don't have to apply as often as other oils.

Love this product!! Makes cutting glass smooth and easy. You only need a very little bit with each use, which means this product lasts forever and is worth the money. Allows me to cut seamlessly and only have to do a little bit of grinding!

I used this Glass Cutting Oil with the 1/2-inch diamond hole saw (Amazon# B00FOT1DS0). I had to use quite a bit of oil because of the size of the little dam that I made to contain the oil (around the base of my part to cut).I used about 20% of the bottle to get started, another 20% half way through the cut. For the second cut, I did the same thing. So for me, the complete bottle only lasted for 2 holes. I probably used more than was necessary, but I only had 2 holes to drill so I was probably being wasteful.I cut through the very very thick bottom a Waterford Marquis crystal vase to turn it into a lamp. I already had one, so I bought a second on eBay to make a pair of lamps. The first was a wedding present from many years ago.The diamond hole saw was 1/2-inch diameter. That, plus the oil, allowed me to make the complete cut in about 10 minutes going at 540 rpm (my drill-press' slowest speed).I was very pleased with the final result and would buy this Glass Cutting Oil again.Scott

Not sure if the quality of the oil or quality of the knife is the most important but regardless, people recommend to use oil to lubricate the knife when cutting glass so that's what I did. Didn't face any issue.

I used it to cut a huge mirror for the wife and it worked but it could be a bit thinner or it might have been my glass cutter wasn't dispensing the oil enough. Either way it cut the mirror. The cap did break when I was tightening it
