Type F Cam and Groove Fitting
This type F camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male camlock quick connect adapter on one side and a male NPT theads on the other side. The male camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a female camlock. The male threaded side will connect to a female NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe.
The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of polypropylene. Polypropylene cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. These cam and groove fittings are suitable for use with water, hydraulic oils, coolants, gasoline, and other petroleum products.

I was tired of using the suction cup on the pump out boat for my boat. This screws in, snap pump out fitting on and it's hands free. Only used twice but seems ok

With the mating part, this fitting is just the thing I needed to connect a submersible pump to a hose for a garden waterfall.
