This office mat is perfect in every way! Size! Clear! Strong! Rated for people in excess of 300 lbs. Looks! Works on various types of flooring! Shipped quickly! No odor! Great price! Packaged super well so product arrives in perfect condition! Should last a long time!I am 70 years young and a woman. I was able to unpack it and slide it down the hall to the office and put in place BY MYSELF! I needed scissors to cut through the tape. Wish the thin layers of styrofoam inside the box didn’t tear so easily creating little beads that cling to stuff. I bagged up the styrofoam, then got out the vac to finish clean-up. Love the mat so far! Looks so nice. Easily roll around in my office chair.I highly recommend this tempered glass office chair mat!

Looks like no more dents in plastic chair mats. . . 46"x55" glass chair mat looks great on our carpeted floor, feels durable, weights 43 lbs. We bought this larger size than we used before to stay away from glass edges, as we used to roll off and back on with 3'x4' plastic mats. Shipping packaging is excellent with very good edge protection. Safe to stand glass mat on edges for shipping and carrying. Amazon delivery found size & weight a no fun package to bring mat to our place. We believe the choice to move to glass will be an improvement over fighting chair wheel dents (and cracks) that always show up with plastic chair mats. If these .2 inch thick pieces of glass can be man-handled from China without breaking, they should work on my carpeted floor okay.

Have had this on top of my low pile carpet with my computer chair on top of the glass mat for a few months now and it does not move. No cracks or scratches and is easy to clean. Can easily glide my chair. Definitely worth the cost. Would highly recommend.

This is tempered glass, so it's strong, but if you break it or smack the edge/side of the glass mat (the weakest part of the glass), it's going to shatter into a bazillion pieces. So I'm being careful not to drop a hammer on it or have the edge of the glass touch anything. It would be better if they added another layer like they do with windshields, such that when it shatters, there's a layer that keeps all the pieces together. However, this will do and it's way better than those plastic mats.

The glass mat is great. It shipped with only five anti-slip patches - not enough. My mat stil slips around slightly on the floor. As I step onto it, it slips up to an inch. Over the course of a day, I've found the mat very skewed and it needed to be re-set into place. Not a huge deal; but the seller won't sell additional identical anti-slip patches and advises I find carpet anti-slip patches (for a GLASS chair mat???). Still a great product - just anticipate having to buy more anti-slip patches, and hope they are the same height!

I am delighted with my new glass chair mat. Always wanted one but couldn't afford it till now. Excellent value. It has a strong, hard surface and even the edges are solid. An excellent value.

I accidentally purchased a chair mat that was made for hardwood floors when setting up my new home office - it was not very effective. This tempered glass floor mat such a nice change. It is thick, supportive and my chair rolls effortlessly.
