For a VERY inexpensive pipe cutter, this worked great! I cut down some scaffolding frame with solid thick wall steel tube and it worked like a charm. It's very heavy and solid. Highly recommend for the weekend warrior.Probably not the perfect choice for a tradesman, however. Those folks may want a much more expensive model.

I use it for cutting 2" to 3" tubing on almost a daily basis. I have not had any issues.

Put it to light duty use and cut some 3†exhaust pipe with it. Came with an extra blade and performed as expected. It’s a heavy chunk of iron and everything operates smoothly. Had no problems making cuts. This is the same style pipe cutter I used in the oilfield as well. Familiarity for the win I guess. Definitely worth the money.

Pure garbage. They give you two wheels because the first wheel won’t make it through the first cut.

I have never used a pipe cutter before but I needed to cut 1/2" galvanized steel pipe to make some table legs and thought I would give these a try. So easy to use and they made cutting that pipe super easy and gave a very clean finished cut end. I wasn't sure this would do the job but it made the 8 cuts I needed without any problem. I am certain I will be using it again now that I know how simple and effective it is.

It is a budget priced tool, and if you are not in a rush and don't over turn it, you will get good results. I took my time on 1" black pipe, it tracked perfectly. It does not cut as deep or as fast as other pipe cutters, but a little patience and the job gets done.Overall I am satisfied with the purchase, but do not expect a long life from it, and I don't think its for every day use.For the occasional user like me (mostly for cutting 3/4" pipe for pipe clamps) it will be fine. It did come with an extra cutting wheel.
