Overall not really bad for the $$$. Ordered the flash for my Sony SLT-A65v and after spending some time getting used to the menus on the flash and the XPRO trigger everything has been going smoothly! I immediately downloaded the Manuals for the flash and trigger from the GODOX website because the print in the manuals are really small. Took some time to get acquainted with the units and was up and running TTL rather quickly. Now taking the time to experiment with manual settings and will surely discover more functions this flash has to offer. Came with nice case/diffuser/ and would recommend some rechargeable batteries. Did some research and ordered the Sony ADP-AMA shoe adapter for about $25 to be compatible with this particular camera. Once set up on auto and getting used to the menu it is quick and responsive when I need it to be. I like this flash especially since it is radio controlled and later on if I need to expand I can add some extra flash units. I use this flash primarily for Nature photography and some portraits here and there.

I was so upset when my mirror less camera didn’t come with flash. I didn’t do much research before buying!! 😓 and the flash were so expensive. After doing so many research on Reddit, I bought this flash and it’s worth it. Amazing flash on budget

I just got an R7 and wanted something that would offer more features than my Canon 430 EX (the original version). This seemed to fit the bill - fully supports control from the camera and more power than the 430EX. It also comes with a nice accessory package for the price.However, be aware that you need to disable the flash assisted autofocus. When enabled, the camera will use the flash to help with AF when a scene is very dim and low contrast. However, that will cause an error 70 (sometimes) and lock up the camera (always). You then have to shut off and restart the camera (sometimes twice) to restore function. I tried various work arounds but the only solution is disabling the function.I wrote to Godox as I had read they had solved this on other units with firmware updates but they denied this and said there would be no firmware update to fix this. They also said Canon's hot shoe adapter would fix the problem but that seems unlikely as I believe that adapter does not change anything electrically - it just restores weather sealing for some units.Because the price is so great, I decided to keep the flash and live without the flash assisted AF. (I can always use my 430EX if I'll be shooting in very dim light). Supposedly this problem doesn't happen with the V1 but that unit is bigger and considerably more expensive.

I actually bought this flash twice. The first time I unfortunately used some old Duracell batteries in it and they leaked. It is almost impossible to clean the contacts later, so make certain to use fresh batteries and take them out. But the flash does way more than I will ever use it for, I will probably keep it in TTL mode all the time. I am very happy with this purchase.

It came in a padded envelope and the hot shoe connector was completely broken off. Not only that but it did not come with any of the accessories shown in the pictures.

I bought this with the new Sony A75. The flash is pretty good. But getting it out of the camera shoe is very hard. I thought I had to take it to the store. I tried multiple times, but all the time, I had the feeling that I was going to destroy the camera shoe. Returning!

Simple de manejo, parte un prosumer más que suficiente para fotos e interiores. Trabaja perfectamente con un flash esclavo y es realmente TTL (mide a través de la lente de la cámara)

El producto no es malo, el problema está en la zapata, al cambiar la forma en que se ajusta a la cámara le restaron calidad porque esa modalidad del seguro hace que el flash pueda llegar a romperse, tuve uno igual y se rompió de estar tomando la foto, simplemente se cayó y dejó de funcionar la zapata, ahora solo lo puedo usar de esclavo o con un transmisor, yo se que ustedes solo son vendedores pero quisiera que esta opinión llegara al fabricante para que sustituya la forma de asegurar el flash por la que trae el modelo TT600 que es como una tuerca
