I bought this because my brother bought one and it's better than any other can opener I've ever bought. This is a great can opener! I like the fact that it does not use batteries. It does require a bit of strength to turn the handle, but it's not difficult. It's easy to position the opener once you get the hang of it. The magnet is strong enough to hold the lid until it is released by a backward turn. The can has no sharp edges after opening. And the lid can be re-used to cover the can to store leftovers in the fridge. I've used this opener for months and there is no sign of rust. In fact, the design is such that the opener hardly gets dirty at all.

RECOMENDABLE, FACIL DE USAR.

I had this can opener for about 10 years. I moved a few years ago in 2021, and lost it. I put up with some chucky standard Starfrit can opener that I got at my grocer because I couldn't find this GoodCook one there. The Starfrit works fine, but with the standard sharp edges and all that.Anyway, my wife and I have a toddler so I remembered and got this GoodCook one again now and hopefully I'll get another 10 years out of it.

This things works well to open all sizes of cans, including gallon sized. A good deal and a quality product. I have had it for nearly a year and still working well. Easy to wash and cuts the seam of the can so no sharp edges.
