I have 2 cats with stomach issues and sometimes they get sick on my bed, this has stopped any of that from leaking onto my mattress. It is very soft and you don’t feel it or hear it like some others. It is cooling as advertised. It isn’t thick if you are looking for some extra padding, this is just to protect your mattress from any liquids and dirt. It did have a smell on arrive and it disappears after a few washes. It can take a bit longer to dry but for me that isn’t an issue especially since it is such great quality. A great investment to protect your mattress.

I always had bad luck with mattress protectors, they would be super hot, not fit well, be super loud and crinkly and we would shred them since we toss and turn and also have cats.Total. Game. Changer.The material is soft, and totally breathable. Haven’t had any issues with overheating and my husband has hyperhidrosis and runs very hot frequently. So far we have slept totally soundly, not being disturbed by the loud crinkling like other mattress protectors and our pets don’t feel the need to scratch it up. So far it hasn’t slipped off the corners, but even if it does all the other pros are so nice! Will update should a spill occur, but as of right now we are pleased with the security and comfort this cover gives us! Definitely will be repurchasing in the future if the quality continues to exceed expectations!

This mattress pad is very nice.Con: it retains body heat, so if you sleep/run hot - this pad is not for youBig Pro: definitely water proof. My cat got locked in our bedroom a whole day - he peed on our bed - and NOTHING got through to the mattress. Not a single drop. This pad is worth its price for that very reason.Also excellent fit in my mattress. It didn't come off or pull off once.

I have vacation rental properties and have about 30 mattresses to cover. This cover/protector has deep pockets with good elastic to fit even the thickest mattress. Some of our mattresses have 2" foam toppers added and this cover even goes over the topper. The top layer of the cover is attractive, soft, waterproof and quiet. ( No crinkling of plastic sound ) It is perfect for a rental situation because the cover is easyily removed for washing.
