This is indeed an honest-to-goodness GoPro battery. It holds its charge as it should, and performs as it should. Not a whole lot else to say really.Well, I guess I could say that it tastes terrible, but I wouldn't recommend trying that for yourself. Also: Do not flush.

It does fit my Hero 7. It also just isn't great.I bought this cause I thought the batteries that came with my used unit were bad with now fast they died.Apparently that's just a Hero 7 thing. They get extremely hot and it kills them.Now I basically run without a battery and plugged into a charger cord.

I was trying to resurrect a Hero 5 Black that had the original (dead) battery and had never had a firmware update. Because it was running original firmware, it wouldn't power up with some non-OEM batteries that I ordered. So, I ordered this, crossed my fingers, and hoped that I hadn't just thrown more money at a broken camera. This OEM battery started the camera right up, and allowed me to do the firmware update.As an aside, the non-OEM batteries worked after the firmware update.So, this OEM battery is expensive, but in some situations, there is no substitute for the real thing.

Great product. I previously purchase off-brand batteries. They worked well but battery life was bad after several uses. This GoPro battery works well and lasts longer!

go pro hero 5 just came out recently, and it's hard to find extra batteries... the price on this is very reasonable, compared to what I seen on a couple other sites.UPDATE: I have purchased a second battery, to have with me just in case... I do recommend purchasing the gopro dual port Supercharger, it charges the batteries much quicker than the usb into the computer... Now, after testing this battery and the original, I found that recording video continuosly in 2K, 30frames per second, my battery lasted 1hr. 25min. before it showed only approx. 3min. left before it would shut off, it probably would last longer if I did not have other things going, like image stabilizer, etc... so being a battery that just came out..., this is probably where it should be... I would recommend this.

Comprei a bateria há bastante tempo e ela ainda carrega bem e apresenta uma boa durabilidade. Valeu a pena a compra.

Excelente bateria de reserva e indispensable si tienes una go pro, ya que es bien sabida la duracion de la bateria de estas camaras, la probe el mismo dia de compra y funciona muy bien, la recomiendo

It's completely original product and good quality.Saw many negative reviews before ordering this product like battery drain early,not original product etc. I have tested this battery with my GoPro camera battery.The result is amazing.First I have charged fully my two battery .one which receive with go pro 7 black and order this one.My ho pro battery recorded 1.20 HR non stop recording where as another battery which purchase from Amazon recorded video Till 1.39 HR non stop...its works more then previous battery.i am happy with this product.Ghank you Amazon to provide me a quality vendor and product.
