Super easy open, touch of a button and it's fully open and ready to use. Great when taking dog out and only have one hand! To close, push the button again and the umbrella itself closes. However, you have to push really hard down on the handle to get it to click back into place into its compact size. Nearly impossible to do with one hand unless you use the ground to push it down into. Even with two hands it is tough, so not good for someone elderly or with little hand strength. Otherwise a really good umbrella, it feels sturdy and like it'll hold up over the years. Haven't used it in a lot of wind, but light breezes around 10 mph don't impact it at all. Perfect size for one person to fit comfortably under.

Love how it opens and closes!!!! Small enough I can carry in my purse but full coverage in rain. I am going to get another one for my husband. Betsy

The first time I used this there was a near gale and it turned inside out 3 times! And it isn't damaged at all!. It is a little petite, but it is so cute and I am small also so who cares? Great petite umbrella!

I ordered two blue umbrellas. The size is good, when opened seems of good quality. However, they are on the heavy side when folded. Also takes some strength to close the stem. Over time, I would find it hard to close.

I haven’t used it yet but it seems like really good quality and the open and close button is great. Has a nice weight but not too heavy. Fits into the small pouch of my backpack perfectly. Would recommend to a friend.

The umbrella is well made and sturdy although I haven’t tried it in high winds. The blue sky and clouds are easy on the eyes. The umbrella is quite heavy but I’m assuming it’s because it’s meant to withstand inclement weather.

Opens and closes with one finger.A bit heavy for travel. Can't wait to see if lives up to wind claim.
